About Me
I'm a California native currently living and working in London. Since graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in City Planning and GIS, I've worked for the last five years as a Data Scientist & GIS Specialist.
When I'm not making maps for work, I'm making maps for side projects, conducting my own open source investigations and exploring the world through numbers and visualizations. I have worked to uncover stories from big datasets to provide clear and consise information to municipalities, stakeholders, and non-profits. I'm most interested in the intersection of data and journalism, utilizing dynamic and interactive visualizations to bring static excel sheets and text alive.
After I close the computer for the day, you can find me biking into headwinds, playing drums, and jumping into cold bodies of water.
